Statesville 67, Concord 63: The Greyhounds rallied from a three-point deficit with a strong fourth quarter on Wednesday night to open the 2018-2019 campaign with a win against the visiting Spiders.
Jeremiah Mott led the Greyhounds with 21 points, Kevin Biglow finished with 11 and Chris Brown added 10 for Coach Sonny Schofield's squad.
South Iredell 86, Mooresville 77: The Vikings used a balanced offensive attack to upend the Blue Devils and improve to 2-0 on Tuesday night.
Seth Aeschliman led four Vikings in double figures with 16 points, Hunter Barnette scored 15, Greg Liechty had 11 and Sal Pellegrino chipped in 10 points.
Crest 92, West Iredell 66: The Warriors fell to a 0-2 on the season Tuesday night.
Gabriel Kitchens led West Iredell with 17 points, and Ryan Tenor and Hayden Blohn each scored 13 for Coach Eric King's team.
Statesville 62, Concord 27: The Greyhounds jumped out to a 16-2 lead and cruised to a win in their season opener on Wednesday night.
Tyasia Sharpe led Statesville with 18 points, Danasia Gray scored 11, Natalia Keaton added 10, and Aasia McNeil had 9 for Coach Gregory Stewart's team.
South Iredell 45, Mooresville 37: Sarah Nelson scored 12 points to lead the Vikings to a win over the Blue Devils on Tuesday night.
Lydia Mercer added 10 points as South Iredell evened its record at 1-1.
West Iredell 59, Crest 49: Freshman Lariyah Clark powered the Warriors to a win on Tuesday, pouring in 30 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.
Nakyla Heaggens added 15 points for West Iredell, and Nicole Rhyne chipped in 7 points and 8 rebounds as West Iredell improved to 1-1 on the season.
