Babe Ruth Report: Four teams advance to semifinals in 9/10-Year-Old League

The 9/10-Year-old Babe Ruth League opened the postseason with eight teams squaring off in the quarterfinals:
► East Green 15, Harmony 10
Harmony was led on the mound by Garret Reneger, who pitched two innings and struck out five batters. Zakre Ladd and Bryce Anderson had two hits each and Logan Dillow tallied a single for the Owls. Coaches from East Green did not report any statistics for the winning team.
► Scotts 8, Union Grove 5
Nate Livengood pitched three innings and struck out six batters for Scotts, while Junian Heno-Barber came in and got the save with two strong innings of relief. Kyle Johnson and Ethan Austin had two RBIs each while Julina Heno-Barber and Bryson Chapman chipped in a hit apiece. For Union Grove, Travis Turner led on the mound with five strikeouts and William White fanned three. Riley Carter, Jacob Doahue, and Leland McDaniels all had hits for Union Grove.
► Central 9, Cloverleaf Green 3
Wesson Harris pitched two innings and struck out five and Caiden Johnson pitched one inning and struck out the side for Central. Nate Dillard led Central at the plate with a perfect 3-for-3 afternoon and six RBIs. Tyler Pennell had two hits and Caiden Johnson chipped in a single. Cloverleaf Green coaches did not report any statistics for the game.
► Cool Spring 14, ARS 2
Cool Spring game out with hot bats and Wesley Kendall had a great day on the mound as he went three innings and struck out eight batters. Kendall continued his good day by going 3-for-3 at the plate, including two triples, and had seven RBIs. Reid McCoy also added three hits and drove in four runs. ARS coaches did not report any statistics for their team.
