Marbest Hill Joyner Fleming
Mrs. Marbest Hill Joyner Fleming, beloved daughter of the late Sandy Hill and Edith Harrison Hill, was born in Chesterfield, S.C., on January 12, 1936. She departed this life on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at her home following an extended illness.
She attended Schools in Chesterfield, S.C.m and moved to Statesville in 1983. She was twice married, first to Arthur Joyner Sr. and second to William Taft Fleming, both of whom preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by her son, Arthur Joyner Jr., Johnny Joyner and Donna Murphy.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, sons, James Edward (Tami) Joyner, Freddie (Vivian) Joyner, Nate Joyner, , Kevin Joyner and Travis (Dyrita) Lowe, and Marvin (Michelle) Joyner, all of Statesville; daughters, Barbara Wilson and Teresa Joyner, both of Statesville; brothers, Julius (Amanda) Douglas of New Jersey, Eugene Douglas of New York and Herbert (Manekey) Walls of Society Hill, S.C.; grandchildren, Brad (Tameika) Joyner, Dorey Joyner, Troy (Tiffani) Joyner, Brandon (Malasia) Joyner, Denetrious (Willie) Joyner Miller, Zamyia Miller, Nhyia Miller, Londa Wilson, Justin Wilson, Marvin Joyner, Marcus Joyner, Ashley Burns, K’Naria King, Kaleyah King, Scenque Lowe, Jennifer Lowe, Courtney McMillion, Jamie Gray, Josha Collins, MyAsia Joyner, Azaria Joyner, Zyanah Joyner and Greg Burns; a host of great grandchildren, Brandon Joyner, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Faith Deliverance for Jesus, 2103 E. Greenbriar Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
