​Keener Wallace Sharpe

Keener Wallace Sharpe, 83, formerly of Union Grove, entered his heavenly home on May 27, 2017, while at Maple Leaf Healthcare.

He was a beloved father, brother, and friend.

He was born September 11, 1933, in Iredell County to the late James Granville Sharpe and Eva Wallace Sharpe. Mr. Sharpe was an employee of Southern Screw/N.L. Fasteners for 38 years. He was also a member of Eagle Mills Assembly of God in Hamptonville; where he faithfully served.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Esther Meredith (Sam), Myrle Templeton (Raymond), Flossie Mitchell (Silas), and Eugenia Johnson (Clyde).

He is survived by one son, Keith W. Sharpe (Vanessa); and many loved nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 2 p.m., at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Dr. John Abernathy of Eagle Mills Assembly of God, officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, 7-8:30 p.m., at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow service at Oakwood Cemetery.
