Zootastic Park's Fall Festival

When: Saturday, Oct. 28, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Zootastic Park,385 Oswalt Amity Road, Troutman
Details: There will be face painting, pumpkin decorating and an appearance by The Fairy Tale Princesses and Super Heroes.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

When: Friday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Oct. 28, from 7 p.m. to midnight
Where: Twisted Oak American Bar & Grill, 121 N. Center Street #104, Statesville
Details: Let's do the Time warp again! It's the annual Rocky Horror Picture Show. Open to adults only, ages 18 and up. Tickets are $10, doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 9 p.m.. Prop bags will be for sale at the door for $1 (cash only).

Rescue Ranch Corn Maze

When: Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28, 7 to 10 p.m.
Where: Rescue Ranch, 1424 Turnersburg Highway, Statesville
Details: A nine-acre maze with a Chevy theme. Admission is $8 for ages 13 and older, $5 for children ages 2-12 and under 2 are free. All proceeds benefit Rescue Ranch. For more information go to

Halloween Tea at Two

When: Saturday, Oct. 28, 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: The Historic Sharpe House, 402 S. Center Street, Statesville
Details: This month's Tea at Two celebrates Halloween. Costumes are encouraged. Tickets at the door are $15 per adult, $7 for children ages 8-12, 7 and under are free. Proceeds to benefit the Silas Alexander Sharpe Foundation. Call for reservations 704-682-7508.

Tina and her Pony

When: Saturday, Oct. 28, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Iredell Arts Council, 203 S Meeting St, Statesville
Details: Tina and her Pony is part of the Iredell Art's Council 2016 Concert Series. Seats are limited. Previous concerts have sold out. Get your tickets early. Tina & Her Pony formed in Asheville in 2009. Tina Collins (tenor banjo, tenor ukulele, guitar, vocals) and Quetzal Jordan (cello, guitar, vocals) create unique music.

LKNO at Mitchell Community College

When: Saturday, Oct. 28, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Mitchell Community College, 500 W Broad Street, Statesville
Details: The public is invited to join Maestro Eduardo CedeƱo and the Lake Norman Orchestra for an open-air concert on the Circle at Mitchell Community College.
