Sheriff: Man faces multiple drug charges as a result of burglary investigation

A Mooresville man faces several drug charges after Iredell County Sheriff's Office deputies found cocaine, ecstacy and marijuana in a vehicle he was driving.
Sheriff Darren Campbell announced the arrest of Aaron Bernard Faulkner, 32, in a news release on Monday afternoon.
ICSO deputies were following up on a lead stemming from a breaking and entering on Saturday, March 9, when they located a truck that they suspected was involved in the crime, Campbell said.
The deputies spoke with the occupants of the truck and then searched vehicle, according to the news release.
During the search, they located cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana in Faulkner's possession, Campbell said.
Faulkner was arrested and taken to the Iredell County Detention Center, where he was charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Magistrate Watkins set Faulkner's bond at $5,000.
