Sheriff: Deputies searching for Cleveland man wanted on several charges

The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Cleveland man wanted on several felony charges.
Joshua Rick Bass, 32, has active warrants for his arrest for Felony Possession of Counterfeit Instrument, Felony Larceny of a Firearm, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, according to an ICSO news release.
Bass is wanted for questioning in connection to several stolen four wheelers, and dirt bikes in eastern Iredell County, Sheriff Darren Campbell said in the news release. Several witnesses have come forward stating they have seen Bass riding a green four-wheeler in the area of Oswalt Amity Road and Triplett Road, along with several other areas in Troutman and eastern Iredell County, according to the news release.
It is possible he may be staying just inside Rowan County, Campbell said.
According to the ICSO, Bass has an extensive criminal history, including charges of Felony Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault by Pointing a Gun, Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Breaking and Entering, Felony Obtain Property by False Pretense, Possession of Heroin, Larceny after Breaking and Entering, Misdemeanor Communicating Threats, and Misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct.
