Piedmont HealthCare presents Friday after Five Concert Series

When: Friday, June 7, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Downtown Statesville
Details: Beer, wine, soft drinks and food available for purchase. Envision will be performing. Bring chairs and enjoy a night of music. No pets or outside beverages or coolers are allowed.

Cosmic Reflections

When: Friday, June 7, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Painting With a Twist, 335 W. Plaza Drive, Mooresville
Details: Sip, Paint and Relax. This class is for adults 18 and over. Cost is $35 with supplies provided. Wine will be available for purchase or you can bring your own. For more information, call 704-658-2386.

YMCA Dance Academy Open House

When: Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m. to noon
Where: Statesville Family YMCA Dance Academy, 828 Wesley Drive, Statesville
Details: Come tour the facility, meet the instructors and check out the new fall dance schedule. Prizes, giveaways, refreshments and dance shoe fittings.

Armenia Missions Golf Tournament

When: Saturday, June 8, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Twin Oaks Golf Club, 320 Twin Oaks Road, Statesville
Details: Sponsored by Fairview Baptist Church with proceeds going to Armenia missions. Registration fee is $55 per person which includes two mulligans. For more information call 704-872-4246.

Stained Glass Saturday

When: Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Iredell Museums, 134 Court Street, Statesville
Details: Join Samantha Moose for an art lesson showing you how to make your own stained-glass art work with glass items found around your home. Supplies will be provided. Cost is $5 for anyone over the age of two and free for museum members.
