Iredell County Partnership for Young Children hires new director of Child Care Solutions

Stephanie Clark has been hired as the new director of Child Care Solutions/Region 9 Child Care Resource & Referral Director for the Iredell County Partnership for Young Children (ICPYC).
In this position, Clark will be responsible for implementing and managing a Child Care Resource and Referral Service for Iredell County and collaborating with local Child Care Resource and Referral agencies within the N.C. Regional Resource and Referral area of Region 9; which includes Iredell, Alexander, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, McDowell, Mitchell, Watauga and Yancey counties.
Clark has more than 18 years of experience in the early childhood education field, including work as an early childhood lead teacher, a parents as teachers parent educator, and an education specialist tasked with providing professional development and technical assistance to early childhood programs to enhance the quality of early care and education for children in Iredell County. She earned a master's degree in Human Service Counseling from Liberty University and a bachelor's degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education from Winston-Salem State University.

Her background and qualifications uniquely position her to assume this role where she will utilize her vast experience to ensure that project goals and outcomes are accomplished.”
Clark’s passion is evident throughout her efforts of promoting and enhancing high quality education for young children and early childhood professionals. She believes that “children are resilient, and it is important to invest in the development of young children to allow optimal growth and success throughout life.”
