School choice options in Iredell County are as plentiful as ever. Gone are the days of simply attending a school based on your residential address.

A rising kindergartner in Iredell County can choose between a traditional elementary program, a Spanish dual emersion program, an International Baccalaureate program, and so many more options. Students entering high school can explore a fine arts pathway, a career in fire safety, or a pursue an IB Diploma. Make sure you are informed and knowledgeable.

Iredell-Statesville Schools will host "What's Happening Here," from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, at 350 Old Murdock Road in Troutman to showcase the district's academic programs.

All 37 campuses and programs will be represented and staff will be available to answer questions. Whether you would like to explore advanced career and technical training, enroll in online courses, attend one of three early colleges or simply learn more about the best middle school fit for your child, this program will provide valuable information to help parents make the best choice for their children.
