Grants available for Iredell County nonprofits

The Iredell County Community Foundation is currently accepting applications for its 2019 grant program from eligible Iredell County organizations, including 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, congregations, governmental and educational institutions.

Priority will be given to requests for projects and programs that address workforce development or literacy for children ages 5-10.

In 2019, the foundation will invest the majority of grant funding in projects and programs that address workforce development or literacy for children ages 5-10. Please note, the foundation will consider requests enabling the grantee to seek grant support from other funders.

Priority will be given to proposals requesting one-time funding to initiate projects and programs. A small number of requests that fall outside of these priority investment areas will also be considered.

To begin the application process, grant seekers are invited to visit the Online Grants Center at and search for Iredell County Community Foundation to access the online application. Past applicants can login to the Online Grants Center using their previously established ID and password. First-time applicants can create a new account.

Completed applications must be submitted online by noon on Friday, March 8, 2019. The system closes promptly at 12 p.m. and will not accept late submissions.
