Troutman holiday market craft show set for November 10 at new location

Come shop 'til you drop at the third annual Troutman Holiday Market Craft Show, which will move to the main exhibition hall at the Iredell County Fairgrounds (630 North Main Street) this year.

The rain or shine event will run from from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on November 10. Parking and admission are free.

The show will feature a variety of crafts, products and decorations for holiday decorating or gift-giving. The rain or shine event will also feature a variety of food offerings to maintain shopping energy!

Currently 70 vendors are signed up, 50 percent more than last year, with more applications still being accepted, according to Parks and Recreation Coordinator Emily Watson.

“You name it, we got it,” said Watson, who said this show is a great opportunity to shop for unique gifts and decorations for the holiday season.

Exhibitors will be selling metal art, wood signs and art, jewelry, women and children’s clothing, vinyl decals, Thanksgiving and Christmas decor items, local honey, wickless candles, bath products, and handmade quilting products.

Other items include books, soaps and lotions, elderberry syrup, home and garden items, handmade bowls, dog bandannas and bow toes, hair bows, tutus, crocheted items, aromatherapy, burlap and grapevine as well as holiday wreathes, and farmhouse art and decor.

Brand name vendors include Paparazzi Jewelry, Origami Owl, Mary K, LipSense, Color Street nail polishes, Vera Bradley bags, Bob Timberlake art, and Thirty-One gifts.

Food trucks, including Wilson’s Wienie Wagon, T’s Sweets, Lowman’s Concessions, and Hillbilly Philly, will provide a variety of tasty selections.

Vendor applications are still being accepted, but since the exhibition hall is full, new vendors will be assigned spaces on the main walking path leading to the building.

The application and $35 fee must be in to Watson by November 6 at 5 p.m. to reserve a 10-foot-by-10-foot sales space. The first vendor for branded, specialized products will be the only one honored to sell that product.

Vendors will need to provide their own tables and chairs (and tents, if desired, for outdoor spaces) as well as any necessary water and power supply. They must keep their areas neat and clean and pick up all items and trash from their areas before they leave.

Set up begins at 8 a.m., and vendor booths must be ready by 9:30 a.m.
