Full Bloom Film Festival announces 2019 festival dates, submission deadlines

The countdown to the 5th Annual Full Bloom Film Festival is officially on. The festival will run September 19-22 in venues in and around Historic Downtown Statesville. The Festival is dedicated to bringing innovative, diverse cinema to Statesville.
The 2018 Festival showcased 87 films from 18 countries and this year's Festival promises to be even bigger. The Festival will include four days of film screenings, red carpet events for film premieres, insightful panel discussions and filmmaker Q&As, along with parties all weekend.
Submissions are currently open for the Full Bloom Film Festival. Filmmakers from around the globe are encouraged to submit films in five categories: Narrative Feature, Documentary Feature, Short Narrative, Short Documentary and Animation (any length). Awards will be given to the winning films in each category as well as "Best of Fest."

The Festival is organized by a committed group of area business leaders, film enthusiasts and volunteers, and supported by a collaboration with the City of Statesville, Iredell Arts Council, Iredell-Statesville Schools, Mitchell Community College, Statesville Chamber of Commerce and the Statesville Recreation and Parks Department.
