Developer plans to convert Lone Star property into office space
FROM STAFF REPORTS
Approved site plans for the former Lone Star Steakhouse building, located at 700 Sullivan Road, have the site slated to become a 10,000-square-foot office building, according to the Statesville Planning Department.
No tenant has committed to the building.
The building will not be demolished, according to site plans, but an additional 2,722-square-feet will be added onto the current structure to accommodate the office space.
The property is owned by Henry and David Atkins of Charlotte-based Atkins Properties, the same developers of the Fourth Creek Crossing complex on Turnersburg Highway.
Lone Star closed in January of 2017.
