Fourteen local businesses, organizations and health service providers participated in Career Academy and Technical School’s job fair on Thursday. The event was geared toward Nursing Fundamental students.

Students were able to connect with more than a dozen local health- care facilities and speak with their staff.

The goal was to help students to find employment and see who is actively hiring. Also, it allowed students to see the many options there are out there across Iredell County.

Community sponsors included: Autumn Care, Bayada, Bayada Pediatrics, Brian Center (Mooresville), Brian Center (Statesville), Crossroads Home Health, Dudley’s Home Health Care, Genesis Health Care System, Home Care Helpers, Home Instead Senior Care, Interim Health Care, Iredell Home Health Care, Jurneys, Maple Leaf, Right At Home, Rosewood Assisted Living and Sherrie’s In Home Care.
